Producer Day 4: Headers, Sections, and How to Work Them

Three days in and the system is built and running. Today is where it all becomes yours.

The agents who close the most premium are not doing anything complicated. They follow a simple daily rhythm: open the system, start at the top of the list, work their way down, log every call, and move on. That is it. Consistency beats talent every single time, and today you are learning the exact rhythm that makes Agency MVP produce results.

The Three Sections and What They Mean

At the top of Agency MVP is the header bar. Every contact in your system lives in one of three sections. Knowing which one to work from at any given time is one of the most important habits you can build.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Hovering over Leads, Prospects, or Customers in the header will show you a quick view of how many contacts are ready to call in each section.

Leads A Lead is a household you have not spoken to yet, or one you do not have enough confirmed information to quote. New contacts start here. Workflows are already reaching out automatically, but they have not been confirmed and quoted yet.

Prospects There are two types of Prospects:

  • Awaiting โ€” You have quoted them but have not yet reviewed the quote with them.
  • Quoted (Reviewed Quote) โ€” You have gone over the quote with them but have not closed the sale yet.

A contact moves from Leads to Prospects only after you have spoken to them, confirmed their information, and completed a real quote.

Customers A Customer is a Prospect you have marked as sold, or an existing client in your book of business.

Your Daily Working Rhythm

Follow this process every single time you sit down to work your leads. Once it becomes habit, Agency MVP will feel fast and effortless.

  1. Log in to Agency MVP.
  2. Click Leads in the header to open the Leads call view page.
  3. Always start at the top. The list is ranked โ€” highest-priority contacts are at the top. Do not skip around.
  4. Click the arrow to the left of the first household to open their contact.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: The date and time called prefills automatically the moment you click the arrow. You rarely need to change it.

  1. Click Details only if you need to update information on that contact such as current carrier info or renewal dates. Do not click Details as a default step on every contact โ€” only when something actually needs to change.
  2. Dial the number. If your agency uses RingCentral, you can click the number directly to dial. Otherwise, dial from your preferred calling service.
  3. While the phone is ringing, read any notes on the contact so you know who may answer and what the last interaction was.
  4. Log the call on the right-hand side:
    • Call Status prefills to unanswered. If the call was answered or inbound, change the status.
    • Notes are required on answered and inbound calls. If you spoke to the household, fill in the notes box before saving.
    • Member defaults to the Main Contact. Change it if you spoke to someone else in the household.
    • Next Action tells MVP when to bring this household back. Options include Call Back Today, Call Tomorrow, Call Back Future Date, and Call Back Specific Date/Time. Always set this before clicking Save.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Move to the next household and repeat.

Using the Filters Dropdown

On the left side above your contact list, there is a Filters dropdown. Use it any time you need to narrow your view and focus on a specific group of contacts.

Useful filters include:

  • Best Time to Call โ€” Filter by morning, afternoon, or evening. You can select multiple options at once.
  • Filter by Workflow โ€” View only households assigned to a specific workflow.
  • Custom Filter โ€” Additional filtering options including renewal date and current carrier.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Active filters turn blue so you always know what you are viewing. Your list will still be ranked even with filters applied, so always start at the top.
